Hi, I'm Nouran, the founder of Cushy.

I was born and raised in Egypt, surrounded by a heritage of craftsmanship passed from one generation to the next. I grew up captivated by the color, texture, and patience woven into every handmade piece, and by the makers behind them.

When I moved to Canada, I couldn't find rugs that carried that same soul: made by hand, built to last, and honest about where they came from. So I decided to bring them here myself.

Cushy is how I share the beauty of Egyptian craft with the world, one piece at a time.
